Buttermilk & Black Pepper Mashed Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package Potato Pearls® EXCEL® Original Recipe Mashed Potatoes*
  • 2 Tbsp Black pepper, finely ground
  • 1 qt Buttermilk
  • 3 qt Water, hot (170°-190°F)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Stir together Potato Pearls® EXCEL® Original Recipe Mashed Potatoes* and black pepper in a 4-inch deep, half-steamtable pan.
  2. Combine buttermilk and hot water in a large measuring cup.
  3. Quickly pour hot liquid over ingredients, stir for 15-20 sec. with a slotted spoon to ensure even distribution.
  4. Set for 5 min., fluff with a fork and serve.

*Can substitute with any Basic American Foods Mashed.
